 Verified Great tour of Adelaide Bruce was great, we really enjoyed our tour and the versatility we got to experience through both the stops and Bruce’s knowledge. Would recommend, highly! We wouldn't often do a group tour and had planned to do a cycling one/self-guided, but my husband had been under the weather and we went for something a little easier. Really pleased we did!

Our tour guide was hilarious and kept everyone entertained from start to finish. He was also incredibly kind, welcoming, and made sure everyone had a great experience.  Verified Fantastic tour I realised only ab 1 hr bf tour that id booked the wrong date . James was fantastic. Easily contactable and so supportive in my panic . He fitted us in a tour with lots of effort I’m sure but didn’t say that , nothing was too much trouble . Craig our guide was super … informative responsive .. fun . Great introduction. To Adelaide and the history .. then off to Handoff .. 2 hrs free time then onto a beautiful drive to a couple of wine tastings .. spectacular views lovely wines informative presentations .. cldnt recommend mre highly .  Verified Full day, good value for money Very good whole day tour, well worth it. After a drive around Adelaide we visited Mt Lofty then had 2 hours in Hahndorf while the driver returned to Adelaide to pick up passengers for the half day tour to McLaren Vale. We had a wine tasting at 2 wineries, both very good with knowledgeable staff; spent an hour at each. Ended up in Glenelg to see sunset over the ocean, then back to Adelaide. Driver/guide gave good advice on where to eat. So glad we didn't try to do this trip ourselves.

We did the full day tour and Bruce's knowledge of Adelaude made for a very interesting experience. Hahndorf was great and we really enjoyed the wineries in particular Kay Bros.  Verified McLaren Vale delights We thoroughly enjoyed our half-day McLaren Vale winery tour. Aaron was a great guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining, and a safe driver. The visit to the D’Arenberg Cube and Dr Seuss exhibition was a highlight, and we loved hearing the history of the Chapel Hill Winery. The wines from both Haselgrove and Chapel Hill were very enjoyable and we had no hesitation in purchasing a few bottles to take home. The tour was full-on all day from 0900-1800, taking in a tour of Adelaide ( main sights), Mt Lofty lookout (10 mins), Hahndorf (2 hrs - buy your own lunch), Chapel Hill Winery (1 hr), D’Arrenberg the cube (10 mins), Haselgrove Winery (1hr) and then a tour of the southern beachside suburbs, where we dropped off at Glenelg. Informative tour guide, (great to learn about Kangaroo Island, too, as that was my next tour), itinerary ticks a lot of boxes (city history, wineries and Glenelg), and 1.5 hrs free time in pretty autumnal Hahndorf went quickly. No meals included, only 2 wineries which were lovely. Option to leave tour at Glenelg if wanting to watch sunset. Bus was full, mix of solos, friends, couples.

 Verified McLaren vale wine tasting afternoon. Last minute decision the night before and what a great afternoon (5hrs) out. Our host/driver was a fountain of knowledge on the local flora and fauna.  Verified The essence of Adelaide. Absolutely fabulous! What a great way to get a flavour of Adelaide in a day. Craig did a great job of pointing out the key features of the city before we visited Mount Lofty which is a fabulous lookout point. We spent a happy couple of hours in Hahndorf where we enjoyed a currywurst with a German lager before we headed off to McClarenvale for a spot of wine tasting which was fabulous. A quick stop at D’Arenberg’s Rubik cube was a bonus. Finished off in the lovely beachside location of Glenelg where we chose to stay to watch the sunset. Had a fabulous tapas supper in a little bar and caught the tram home which was very straightforward.

Chapel Hill vineyard was the better of the two wineries we visited in my opinion and Glenelg was a lovely way to finish off the day.  Verified Loved this tour This was a great tour showing us all around Adelaide city and then the outskirts. Both wineries that we visited were perfect. Great wine tastings with outstanding hosts. Finishing off in Glenelg with an icecream topped off my day. The outstanding element of the whole experience was Thomas, our driver and guide.  Verified Fun and Informative! We had a truly fantastic day! Bruce was very knowledgeable and kept us interested and highly entertained as he shared informationabout the areas we were visiting. The wineries we visited were lovely, and we were particular impressed that we were able to sit and enoy and learn about the tastings. As a group we bonded and had lots of laughs along the way.  Verified Great way to get a taste of Adelaide & all it has to offer. The morning consisted of a history of Adelaide & the CBD. Our guide Bruce was just the right amount of facts and jokes. Driving up to Mount Lofty Summit we were able to see a couple of koalas in trees. Then on to the town of Hahndorf for a German lunch and some shopping. The next phase included tastings at 2 wineries. Then onto Glenelg to the beach and to see the restaurants. If you’re not too tired stay and have dinner there. We ended up taking the tram from Adelaide the next night to Glenelg to see the sunset. I would recommend this tour for a great overview of the area.

 Verified A perfect taste of Adelaide! I’m so glad I did this tour as my last full day in Adelaide. Right off the bat, our tour guide, Bruce, was hilarious. He was very informative in the history he was providing and brought our tour group together in such a special way. We roamed around the streets of CBD before embarking up to Mount Lofty where we caught some cool sights and cute animals! From there we went to Hahndorf and got to galavant the town as we please. This is your opportunity to eat a heavy snackadoo and grab a coffee, because then you’re off wine tasting. We enjoyed tastings at two lovely wineries and then we stopped by Glenlg Beach for a short stroll. Ended the evening getting dropped off back at your hotel. I gotta tell you, $90USD for a full day tour with two different wine tastings, is more than worth it. I would highly recommend. I left with what felt like family 🥺

The tour encompassed driving through main sites in Adelaide and its surrounding areas - great for orientating yourself to the city. We drove up to a great viewpoint, Mount Lofty, in the Adelaide Hills with Bruce managing to spot a koala for us among the trees. The relaxing pace continued with the picturesque drive through farmland to Hahndorf. We had time to explore this small country town of German origin. Then another very pretty drive to two wine tastings, very different styles and both very enjoyable. Finally a drive along the coast to Glenelg seaside town. It was very relaxing day and we really felt we saw such a variety of places and experiences outside Adelaide. I’d thoroughly recommend this tour. It’s good value and well organized. Our Adelaide City Highlights, Hahndorf, McLaren Vale and Glenelg tour brings together the best of Adelaide and its surrounding regions in one relaxed, beautifully varied day.
Start with a guided tour through Adelaide and North Adelaide before heading to Mount Lofty for sweeping views across the city. Enjoy 1.5 hours of free time in Hahndorf to grab lunch, browse the boutique shops or wander through Australia’s oldest German settlement at your own pace.
In the afternoon, travel to McLaren Vale for a relaxed wine tasting experience near Adelaide. Visit Kay Brothers and Haselgrove for structured wine tastings at two local cellar doors, with the opportunity to enjoy a cheese board at one of the stops.
The day finishes with a coastal drive via Glenelg, where you can choose to end your tour by the beach or return with us to Adelaide.

With pick-up from selected Adelaide CBD points, the day begins with Adelaide city sightseeing before continuing to Mount Lofty, Hahndorf, McLaren Vale and Glenelg.
End the day with a scenic coastal drive to Glenelg and a relaxed finish after exploring some of Adelaide’s best city, hills, wine and seaside highlights.

Departs 7 days a week.
Start time is 9:00am, with pick-up between 8:50am and 9:00am from selected Adelaide CBD points.
Meeting place is confirmed before the tour.
Maximum group size is 20 people.
At Glenelg, guests can either return to Adelaide on the bus or leave the tour there and make their own way back by tram.
Trams run from Glenelg to Adelaide every 20 minutes.
