Great trip with a full itinerary covering all the highlights and lots of extras. A full itinerary covering all the main highlights of the Great Ocean Road plus lots of extras. Jens is a very knowledgeable tour-guide, the minibus was clean, modern and comfortable. There were a few early mornings to squeeze in all the sights and activities but you are compensated by great breakfasts. Great tour to see the Great Ocean Road and more. What a great tour especial when you don't want to drive or camp. It was quite busy but to see so many beautiful sights and drive a fare way we needed to get up early. Good value. Jen was a very good guide. There was 3 of us and we had a great time. Four fabulous days Such a great tour, encompassing so many of the incredible sights between Melbourne and Adelaide over four fun filled and busy days. Jens, the guide of our small group of 6, was terrific. He had lots of knowledge and a great sense of humour. Our group quickly gelled from a group of strangers to great friends. The breakfast, lunch and dinner spots were very well chosen for tasty food, beautiful location and local interest. The driving never felt too long because we stopped and visited many different places of beauty and historical interest and did lots of walks. Awesome Wonderful trip.4days/3nights. From start to finish we were treated to amazing sights. Brenton added information that was the highlight for us . The route was well done. Highlights Apostles and coastal route. Blue Lake. Farming scenery on the last day. The volcanic nature walk.The great collection of wildlife. Finally the cave's. Loved this experience Excellent tour made even more interesting and enjoyable by Jens who was so informative,great sense of humour,gave us tips of where to eat in the evening. Saw lots of wildlife,Koalas,Kangaroos,Wallabies,Emu's Not always fortunate to see them but we were. Company of 9 other people was good,we all got along well Location of accomodation was good all very good quiet and comfortable after a day on the road. Take the tour! You will regret not doing it! Jens is the man! We were skeptical about a group tour for 4 days, realizing you never know what you get from these kind of tours. Just do it! The attention to detail and deep research that is done for your stops is impeccable. The tour keeps you moving and would please the busiest of persons. A great way to see the Great Ocean Road This is an excellent tour. Our tour guide and driver Jens was wonderful, and with a group of 17 (not usually that big we were told) whenever we stopped we never felt rushed to see what we came to see. The accommodation was great, as was the food, cafe stops and other inclusions. The four days gave us a variety of places to see, including two visits to the Twelve Apostles. Forget those day trips out of Melbourne, this is the way to really see the Great Ocean Road, and beyond. This tour company is a family run business and were great people to deal with when booking and asking questions to them over the phone. I highly recommend this tour. Note: in some of the supplied photos there are scenes of people on the beach; we did not get down to the beach - not sure why; there was one part that was closed so maybe that was the section we missed seeing at beach level. We thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend this leisurely yet entertaining journey from Melbourne to Adelaide that blended iconic sights along the Southern Ocean coast, charming towns with lovely pubs and cellar doors, and great opportunities to socialize with other passengers from around the globe. Our terrific guide, Craig, assured all were well cared for and added stops along the way to customize the tour to participant interests. Fantastic Tour Loved every minute of the Great Ocean Road and Beyond Tour. Small friendly group and a very knowledgeable driver/guide. Over the 4 days/3 nights we visited so many interesting and beautiful places and learnt far more about them than if we had visited by ourselves. Brilliant! Absolutely fabulous trip, which I would recommend without hesitation. Jens, our driver and guide, was safe, kind, organised, informative as well as funny and with a great taste in music too. He honestly couldn't have done more to make sure we had the time of our lives on this trip. The mini-coach was modern, super-clean and comfortable, with good legroom and luggage space. Jens would point out interesting things en-route, as well as telling us about the history and background of the places we visited. The journey was well judged, we never travelled for more than about 2 hours without a stop - sometimes to see an obvious tourist attraction such as the 12 apostles, sometimes for something fascinating but a little less well known and sometimes just for a coffee, leg stretch and comfort break. Overnight accommodation was always of good quality, comfortable and quiet and the included food (breakfast and lunch) was in really nice eateries of various styles. In the evening Jens would suggest places to eat and you had the option of joining him, other members of the group, or finding you own place as a couple. One evening we all elected to have a BYO picnic, which was a lot of fun. This trip at first glance might seem expensive but it is truly great value for money. Amazing Great Ocean Road Tour! Wow! The Great Ocean Road and Beyond 4-day tour is fantastic! - Breakfast and lunch at top quality places (they fed us well) - Good overnight lodgings along the way - Solid “on our own” dinner options to choose from each evening - So many amazing stops and sightseeing along the way We walked through the rainforest, saw the 12 Apostles at sunset and sunrise the next morning, spotted over a dozen koalas in their natural habitat at the Lava Tongue Trail, and explored the cave at Naracoorte with a ranger talk included in the experience. Plus, there were so many more memorable experiences and wildlife sightings - too many to list. Our guides Peter and David were knowledgeable, funny, kind, and took great care and attention of us on the journey. This tour is well worth the time and adventure. US Cousins Down Under Found this tour company "googling" Great Ocean Road; read some reviews and decided to use them for my "Cousins Down Under" trip to Australia to visit our cousin in Adelaide. Mick our guide was fantastic and showed us great sites and stops along a 4-day journey from Melbourne to Adelaide. He made us all feel at home and did everything to accommodate the varied interests of our 10-person group. It was without a doubt the highlight of our almost 30 days in Australia! Comfortable hotels, great food, wineries and host! OUTSTANDING IN ALL RESPECTS BLUF - Outstanding! There are a number of tour companies that run Ocean Road trips, but this one has to up there with the very best. It is a small group tour, and so you will not be on a crowdedbus with dozens of people that don't really want to be there. The schedule of four travel days and three overnights is just right for the groujd to be covered, and includes (IMHO) just the right balance of scenic stops, activities (e'g wineries) and other sights (e.g. caves etc). The three overnight stops have really top quality accomoodation in apartment style chalets/rooms and cannot be faulted. The only way to enjoy the Great Ocean Road to the absolute max. A wonderful trip. Nothing was too much trouble for Brenton our friendly unflappable guide and he and the organisers worked their socks off to ensure we saw and did as much as possible on the tour. We were with a lovely group of people and the tour dynamics were just perfect. Each place where we rested overnight was of the highest quality and the food along the way was delicious. I can not pick a highpoint as there were just so many, from breathtaking coastal views to cute koalas to ancient caves to a cheese museum to a saint and winetasting. Where would I start. Wonderful tour between Melbourne and Adelaide. Great tour between Melbourne and Adelaide, Jens is an excellent guide well prepared and it was a fantastic group made the experience really special. The itinerary was very well selected with interesting places, discovering the small towns along the great ocean road and the country side and Coonawarra wine region. The awesomeness of Great ‘Great Ocean Road and Beyond’ Fabulous scenery in a lovely part of Australia. A great way to travel from Melbourne - Adelaide, accommodation on all three nights was very good. The included breakfast and lunch meals were amazing, great variety of food choices and great quality food. Dinners on the three nights were also top quality and delicious. The driver/tour guide was easygoing though professional and hosted a great trip. I feel I can speak for the group of five individual travellers - to say we all had a great relaxed tour and the scenery and our side excursions were fantastic. Excursion indispensable dans d'excellentes conditions en petit groupe. Excursion superbe et bien rythmée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement tout proche des 12 apôtres qui permet de les voir en fin d'après-midi (beaucoup de monde) et tôt le matin (sans personne) avec une lumière magique. Jours suivants très variés : koalas, émeus, kangourous, grottes de Naracoorte...bain dans le Pacifique sud. Logement dans des villages agréables. Wonderful experience facillitated by well thought out trip. Everyone needs to do this Just finished the 4day/3night tour and have to say one of the best tours I have ever taken. Certainly, value for money . The tour was varied and wonderful scenery and great placed to eat. The Pace was relaxed, and our tour guide Jason was exceptional in making everyone relaxed and making sure everyone got to see what they wanted to see. Fantastic Tour with Lots of Unique Gems! The Great Ocean Road tour was excellent. There is a very good ratio of time spent on the bus and time getting off the bus to look at iconic Australian sites such as the twelve apostles, the Loch Ard Gorge, bay of islands as well as nature walks where you can spot wildlife. We saw many Koalas, Emus and kangaroos. In addition the included meals were very good. When given the opportunity to select your own meal you were not limited by cost and this included alcoholic beverages if you wanted. The three nights of accommodation were all four star or better. Since there is little need for extended commentary during the bus ride our tour guide, Michael, played music which got the whole bus singing. This helped to pass the time while on the bus. Ein muss wenn man in Australien ist. Supper Reise, auch für allein Reisende. Unsere Gruppe hatte mit mir 15 teilnehmer von der gabzen Welt. Excellent Tour I did the 4 day/3night Great Ocean Road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide with Taste of Barossa from the 4th March to 7th March, 2022. The tour was excellent. Steve our driver gave an awesome commentary on each & every step of our tour. He was very knowledgeable about the history and people along our stops, and he is quirky, funny, attentive to all the passengers and very polite. I dealt with Chris in their office over the phone & she was fantastic so friendly and helpful and assisted me in organising my tour which was faultless. Communication was brilliant. Highly Recommended My (Australian) friend and I had been desperately looking for a guided tour along the Great Ocean Road with some comfort, as we didn’t want to join one of these backpacker tours offered by all other tour operators. In the end I found this one in the catalog of a large German travel company, and we booked it. We were not disappointed. Accommodation, cafés and restaurants were hand-picked and of excellent quality. The tour is very carefully designed and offers a great mix of scenic highlights, nature and cultural experiences. Steve, our guide, did everything to make the tour a great experience for everyone in our small group of four. He’s a very competent guide who knows South Australia like the back of his hand and has many interesting stories to tell. He looked after us so well and was good company. Great trip We did the great ocean road tour from Melbourne to Adelaide starting the 8th April 2019. We were a group of four and when we were picked up at the depot found that it was just us. We were quite pleased about that and had a great time. Steve, our driver, made the tour the success it was. We had great weather , though a bit blustery at times, but no rain. We would recommend taking this four day tour. The cost was traveller friendly for what we got. We stayed at nice places and ate at great cafes and restaurants along the way. Once agin Steve made the tour, so full credit to him. We have brought home lots of great pics and memories.
