His kindness and knowledge made the day. The overall day trip was the perfect mix of seeing all the best parts of Adelaide and getting a taste of South Australia life.Posted on Google

Ross L12 days agoAdelaide Hills and Hahndorf Day Tour Craig was our host for today's city sites, Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf, wine tasting and Glenelg tour. The full day expedition was absolutely brilliant. Craig's wealth of knowledge he shared of the attractions was exceptional. The small tour party is definitely more personalised than larger groups.Our experience today was 11 of of 10. Our guide Jordan was wonderful and gave us a great background on Adelaide and Barossa history. We got to taste some great wines at 3 great vineyards. We toured Adelaide City where he gave a fabulous history lesson on the rise of Adelaide and what it offers. One proud Adelaide person. Go Craig. Then onto the wineries of McLaren Vale. Kay Brothers and Hazelgrove. Little places. with wonderful staff, Betty, Jack and Rebecca. Hahndorf for lunch Quaint place but great bakery. and the street treasure trove. A view from Mt Lofty - looking back over Adelaide to the coast. Thank you Australian Discovery and especially ADELAIDE AND BEYOND TOURS .and our most wonderful driver, narrator, historian Craig. racer0926 days agoGreat tour of Adelaide Bruce was great, we really enjoyed our tour and the versatility we got to experience through both the stops and Bruce’s knowledge. Would recommend, highly! We wouldn't often do a group tour and had planned to do a cycling one/self-guided, but my husband had been under the weather and we went for something a little easier. Our bus driver / tour guide JR was awesome, and I must say, our first stop at the winery with, Dorham, really set the scene for the rest of the day, he was so funny and read the crowd so well, top bloke. Matthew proudfoot37 days agoThis trip would of been amazing had the weather played its part. It was a great way to have a quick look around and across Adelaide CBD and the towards the Adelaide Hills. We then went to the summit of Mount Lofty, unfortunately the weather was wet and thick with fog. What a shame, however, didn't spoil our day. Good amount of time in Hanhdorf. Great little town well woth a visit. Driver Thomas we very knowledgeable happy funny and pleasant host for the day. With great individual wineries to finish off the day. The tour guide was very funny and friendly, and introduced us to the sights along the way. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so we couldn’t get off and explore many of the places. Our tour guide was hilarious and kept everyone entertained from start to finish. He was also incredibly kind, welcoming, and made sure everyone had a great experience. Easily contactable and so supportive in my panic . He fitted us in a tour with lots of effort I’m sure but didn’t say that , nothing was too much trouble . Michaela Pascua45 days agoThe Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour is the perfect getaway if you'd like to experience South Australia from the city to the winery region of McLaren Vale in just a day. We enjoyed our time with our parents who visited from overseas. And even for us who live here, it was also a great experience. Our tour guide / driver was really nice and friendly (1/8/2026). He made sure we enjoyed our time. The schedule of the whole tour was nice and we had enough time to be able to explore the tourist destinations without feeling like we're rushed. After a drive around Adelaide we visited Mt Lofty then had 2 hours in Hahndorf while the driver returned to Adelaide to pick up passengers for the half day tour to McLaren Vale. We had a wine tasting at 2 wineries, both very good with knowledgeable staff; spent an hour at each. Ended up in Glenelg to see sunset over the ocean, then back to Adelaide. Driver/guide gave good advice on where to eat. So glad we didn't try to do this trip ourselves.Posted on Google

Our tour guide Bruce gave us a tour with of Adelaide with specific details for tourists including places to eat and see before we started our trip out of the city. We enjoyed a few hours in Hahndorf before heading to two wineries (Haselgrove and Kay Brothers) for some tastings. After an amazing day, we finished the trip watching a sunset in Glenelg. He also insured that the wineries we visited were taking care of and that we didn’t leave a mess behind.
