I really enjoyed our tour of the Barossa with ‘Taste the Barossa’. Convenient pick up from the city, a great host (Mel) and a perfect day. We got to visit a few of my favorite wineries, eat a delicious lunch in Angaston and got a couple of sights in as well. The cheese platter toward the end of the day was a great surprise and much appreciated!

Although I live in Adelaide I will definitely use the convenience of a ‘Taste the Barossa’ tour again next time I want to have a good tasting.

After reading all of the great reviews here, I chartered a private tour with Taste the Barossa for myself and a 7 group of friends and it definitely exceeded our expectations! The team organised a great itinerary – a nice relaxed tour to some boutique and larger scale winerys and an amazing lunch at the roaring 40’s cafe in Angaston. We visited Hemerea Estate, Yalumba and Kalleske Wines, and also managed to squeeze in a beer at a great pub in Tanunda! The staff at all of the winerys were friendly and we never felt pressured to purchase (although, how could we not!). A big shout out to our guide Ash, who was friendly, relaxed and always attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone wanting to experience all of the amazing things the Barossa has to offer.

Had a wonderful half day tour with our guide Dave. Great to be looked after by someone who was both knowledgeable and passionate about McLaren Vale and Adelaide in general. Excellent tips about where to go for meals and how to get around a lovely city. We would highly recommend touring with Dave, we would do so again ourselves.

Our tour guide JR loves a yarn, but he was interesting and entertaining from start to finish. We learned a lot about the region. I was particularly impressed by JR’s attentiveness to an older/disabled customer on the tour. Great value and a beautiful place to visit. Happily recommend this firm.

A perfect afternoon checking out some of the lovely South Australian wineries. The day was made much better by our driver/guide Dave who looked after us so well and was also great fun.

We enjoyed the city tour and Handorf the driver JR was very informative and gave us a good insight into the history of the area he was very relaxed and friendly. Handorf is a beautiful village we enjoyed the German quaintness of the town and the lovely shops and eateries.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending the afternoon with the most amazing tour guide Dave and visiting a few of the beautiful winery’s through McLaren Vale. Lots of beautiful wine tasting, tasty treats and picturesque sight seeing while learning so much about this amazing city. I am a convert !! The tour company were a delight to deal with and Dave made the trip even more fun. I would highly recommend this tour company if your heading to Adelaide, it really made our weekend 🙂
