An excellent tour and highly recommended. Our tour guide Dave was the best (he so looks like Matt Damon), very knowledgeable and passionate about Adelaide, the history and the wineries we visited. The air conditioned tour bus was the perfect size. On the tour were a mixed bunch visiting from Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, USA and New Zealand, which gave Dave good fodder for jokes, entertaining the group and the hilarious banter that ensued had everyone laughing. Wineries were beautiful, the country side spectacular and topping the tour off with Glenelg beach was pretty cool. Thanks Dave for the memories – we shall be back.

Booked this half day wine tour to the McLaren Vale wine region & Glenelg at the last minute and so very glad we did. Dave our driver and tour guide was brilliant – great information, informal and entertaining. The tour was well paced, visiting 3 winery’s where plenty of wine tasting was available and enjoyed. The quality and value of the wine was excellent and we ended up buying some great reds and whites to accompany us on our 4 day road trip to Melbourne.

Group size was nice – approx 12 people, pick up was simple and close to the Hilton at bus stop T1. The tour finishes in Glenelg where you have the choice to make your own way back on the free tram or to be dropped off at your hotel.

We have been on many wine tours and this was one of the best – highly recommend.
